Education:  At our meetings, we prepare for level tests and answer book questions,  We learn about grooming, parts of the horse, parts of the saddle and headstall, hoof care, how much to feed, winter care, vaccinations, diseases, parasites, proper worming schedule, and other health issues.  We have guest speakers teaching about horse health care, nutrition and feeds, and hoof care.

Demonstrations:  Each youth prepares one 5-10 minute demonstration each year on a topic they choose to share with the club. Each demonstration is based on the ability and age of the youth, i.e. Beginners, Level 1, 8-10 year olds, would show how to groom a horse, clean a saddle, or how to bridle and saddle (with assistance, if needed).

Level 2 may do horse colors, parts of the horse, or proper leads, and Level 3 and 4 may do flying lead changes, barrel training, or a reining pattern.
