BOARDING

 

Fees:             $200/month Full Stall Care
                        Daily turn out, weather permitting
                        Owner provides grain to keep the diet consistent, or Nutrena Feeds will be provided at cost
                        Grass Hay provided, Alfalfa is an additional cost

 

Your horse gets individual attention:
Turn out every day.
Grooming and riding is available at an additional fee.
If you need a feed supplement fed, we strictly follow your requirements.

100 x 100 Outside Arena, set up with Trail Maneuvers
Round Pen available for use
Minimal Boarders
Neighboring fields to ride in, before planting and after harvest.

What to expect:
            I explain that I am not a “normal” boarding facility.  I offer only minimal boarding to 5-6 boarders.  All ride times are scheduled, so no one comes to the barn without the Messick's knowing it.  Therefore, we know who is coming and when, and there is always someone here when a boarder is riding.  You will never have to ride in a full arena.  The boarders know the times that the arena is full, due to a group lesson, and schedule their time accordingly.  Otherwise, the boarders can ride in either arena during an individual or a  small group lesson.  The neighboring fields are also available to be ridden in before planting and after harvest.  There are also plenty of country roads  to ride on.  Branched Oak Lake is only 30 minutes away and is a beautiful place to trail ride.

 

NO SMOKING policy.  
            Once you drive into the driveway, there is absolutely no smoking, even in your truck or car.
