A FUN, “HANDS ON” EXPERIENCE, FULL OF DEMONSTRATIONS, RIDING, AND “FUN” TIMES,

FOR BOTH THE STUDENT WITH A HORSE AND FOR NON-HORSE OWNERS

MANY TOPICS, FOR BEGINNERS TO ADVANCED STUDENTS:

HORSE PARTS, COLORS, BREEDS  What color has a dorsal stripe?    
GROOMING & BATHING A HORSE  What shampoo do I use?
TACK CARE & CLEANING  Why does leather need to be oiled?
PARTS OF THE SADDLE & BRIDLE What does the caveson do?

FULL DAY: $150.00,  8 am - 3 pm  
OR 
1/2 DAY: $100.00,  8 am - 11:30 am

( LESSON HORSES AVAILABLE AT $25/week/1/2 days and $50/week/full days)

Full days include: 1 hour of lunging and showmanship, 2-3 educational topics, & 3-4 hours of riding per day!

˝ days include:  1 hour of lunging and showmanship, 1-2 educational topics, & 1-1 1/2 hours of riding per day!

 

DATES: (We reserve the right to cancel a week and to combine weeks if they do not fill up) Limit: 10 riders.

 May:  (4 days only)  27-30 $120.00/week full days or $80/week ˝ days.  Advanced, Levels 3 & 4 4-H

 

June: (Full & ˝ days) 2 - 6        Prepare for summer riding
16-20       Prepare for District 4-H
23-27       Prepare for Open shows

 

July: (only ˝ days) 7- 11       Prepare for State 4-H
21-25       Prepare for County Fair and State Fair

                    

ALL LESSONS INCLUDE: T-SHIRT, FRIDAY BAR-B-QUE & “FUN” SHOW, & CERTIFICATE.

FULL DAY LESSONS: ALL OF THE ABOVE and HAT or VISOR
